ITINERARY
Day 1 - Accra City & Coastline
1. Morning pick-up from your accommodation in Accra.
2. Visit Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum & Park - Learn Ghana's independence history.
3. Artists-Alliance Gallery or Nubuke Foundation - Explore Ghanaina art and culture.
4. Makola Market & Oxford street (Osu) - Experience city life, fabrics, and crafts.
5. Lunch at The Buka Restaurant.
6. Bojo Beach (45 min drive), canoe crossing, swimming, & beach dinner at sunset.
Overnight | Accra City Hotel – Accra
Day 2: Aburi & Akosombo
1. Depart Accra early for Aburi (45 min to 1 hr).
2. Visit Aburi Botanical Gardens, Walk the 1890 colonial gardens; take photos under giant palm avenues.
3. Stop at Aburi Wood Carving Village for handcrafted souvenirs.
4. Learn Ghana’s cocoa legacy at Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm.
5. Continue to Akosombo (1.5 hrs).
6. Akosombo Dam & Lake Volta Cruise. Enjoy a guided tour or private boat ride.
7. Relax by the resort pool or dine by the lakeside at sunset.
Overnight | Royal Senchi Resort - Akosombo, Ghana
Day 3: Ada Foah
1. Depart Akosombo after breakfast for Ada Foah (3 hrs via Asutsuare).
2. Volta River Estuary Cruise – Explore where river meets sea, with mangrove views and birdlife.
3. Enjoy jet skiing, kayaking, or banana boat rides at Aqua Safari or Treasure Island Resort.
4. Lunch by the beach.
5. Visit nearby fishing villages or turtle nesting sites (seasonal, August to December)
6. Drive back to Accra (2 hrs)
